Client Profile: Messages
Understanding client portal messages will help communications between Provider and Client run smoothly.
Messages sent to clients are stored automatically. Notification of messages from clients are sent to the Provider's personal email account. Clients receive an email notification that a message is waiting within their client portal.
Once in the client profile view the direct messaging option, between therapist and client, is quickly accessed by clicking on Messages.
- When creating a New Message, first decide whether you will be adding All Front Office Staff and/or All Therapists. This may not be necessary to include.
The client profile you are within automatically defaults to include that client in the 'To' field.
If adding another client to the message, a warning message will appear, confirming the action is correct. You can clear our any additional people from the message thread by clicking Clear next to their name.
- Add your subject line and message. You also have an option to Add Attachment if needed.
- When ready click Send.
Save Draft is another option, which allows you to come back to the message and finish before sending.
