Accepting and Posting a Patient Payment (after the visit)
- From the Dashboard, Click the [My Clients] tab located in the row of options on the left hand side of the screen.
- Select the client from the list or search for the client.
- Click on the Invoice number for the date the client is paying; This is supposed to be changing; invoice number has no meaning
- You will now see the invoice; click the [Make Payment] at the bottom of the screen. This will change too. This will open a new screen to enter your payment.
- Enter the payment amount and type of payment.
- Next verify the information you have entered and [Save Payment].
FOR PATIENT PAYMENTS TO MULTIPLE DATES
- From the Dashboard, click the [Billing & Insurance] tab located in the row of options on the left hand side of the screen.
- From the billing screen, click the blue button on the top right [Accept Payment].
- Select [Accept Client Payment] from the drop down.
- Enter the patient and provider and [search].
- Enter the total payment amount, type of payment, and date of payment.
- Apply the payment to each visit as necessary.
- Click [Continue] at the bottom to save.
