Creating a Balance Forward
A 'Balance Forward' is typically used when you are transferring to TherapyAppointment 2.0 from another system. Its purpose is to move either a charge or a credit balance on a patient's account that existed in your 'old' system to TherapyAppointment 2.0. Once the balance forward is entered into TherapyAppointment 2.0, you will want to adjust off the balance in your old system.
To create a balance forward for a client, start on their profile page and select their Billing Tab.
Select +Add Adjustment
The next screen allows you to create the balance forward:
