How Do I Cancel My Account?

Cancelling your TherapyAppointment account?

We're sorry to see you go, and we always appreciate feedback about your experience and features that you need that you didn't find.

⚠️ Note: Account cancellation is limited to the practice owner's account only.

Managers cannot cancel the group's account.

If you used integrated credit card processing, please reach out to your card processor & deactivate your separate account with them first!

Once the account is deactivated:

  • Owner and staff logins will no longer work immediately after deactivation
  • You will not be charged going forward for any TherapyAppointment services
  • ⚠️ Export any data before deactivating by using our support article here: export data
  • Data stored in the account may eventually be deleted
  • You can re-establish your account and its data (if retained) in the future by emailing support here


  • Log into your account as the practice owner
  • Click Practice Settings (left menu)

  • Scroll to the very bottom of the page, find the Account Deactivation section
  • Click (top right):

  • Carefully read the information on that page & ensure you understand what deactivation entails
  • Type the word DEACTIVATE in the blank space, then click
