Claim Scrubbing Problems

Read on for more information about how to scrub your claims and get them ready for submission.
A scrub problem indicates that TherapyAppointment is noticing that information necessary for successful claim submission is missing/incomplete in the client’s profile, in your profile or practice settings, or in your coding of the session.
The following process will show you how to rectify the problem.
Review and Fix a Claim Scrub
To do this, go to:
- Billing (left menu)
- Find the section Claim Actions
- Click to the far right of the claim:
- Click to navigate to the section that needs to be fixed before submitting the claim
Once all claim scrub problems are fixed, the claim will be moved to ready to submit automatically.
Note: Submitting a claim before all scrub problems are fixed is not recommended - it may result in a clearinghouse or insurance rejection.
