Allow Clients to Message you


Want to allow clients to message you on the portal, and vice versa?

Look no further! Our built in HIPAA compliant messaging system allows you to communicate securely and efficiently with either staff or clients, and we support sending (but not replying for privacy reasons) group messages to multiple recipients, be it clients, staff, or a bit of both!

This article discusses enabling the ability for clients to send you a message.


Editing Message Settings

To edit client portal secure messaging access, follow these steps:

  1. Click My Profile from the left-hand menu
  2. Navigate to the Client Portal Settings
  3. Within the General Settings click the button 

Then change the option "Allow clients to send you messages via the portal?" from No to Yes, shown below:

Note: Typically, setting this to No will remove 'My Messages' from all of your clients' portals.

If sharing a client with another Therapist, both Therapists must set this to No in order for 'My Messages' to be fully disabled.
