How do I cancel repeating appointments?

Have a client with repeat appointments you need to cancel or reschedule? Or do you need to cancel all upcoming future appointments?

A provider or group administrator can follow these quick and easy steps to clear out a client's appointment schedule depending on what's needed.


In this Article:


From the Schedule

  • Click Calendar (left menu)
  • Click on the appointment you wish to start with
  • Click (right menu)
  • Change Cancel All Future Occurrences? from no to yes:


  • Then click
check_circle All repeat appointments from this specific one onward will now be cancelled

From the Client Profile Appointments Tab

From here you have two options:


Cancel all future repeat future appointments

To do this, go to:

  • Clients (left menu)
  • Click on the name of the client
  • Click Appointments (top tab)
  • Find the repeat appointment you wish to start with and click on the date/time:


  • Then (right menu)
  • Change Cancel All Future Occurrences? from no to yes:


  • Then click
check_circle All repeat appointments from this specific one onward will now be cancelled

Cancel all future future appointments

To cancel all upcoming future appointments, perform these steps:

  • Clients (left menu)
  • Click on the name of the client
  • Click Appointments (top tab)
  • Click
  • Specify for which provider, or all if the client sees multiple providers


Warning: This will cancel all future appointments, not just the repeat appointments.
  • On the pop up, click
check_circle All future appointments for this client will now be cancelled
