Legal Guardian

Need to define a guardian for a client who is a minor? Indicate the parents or legal guardian for a client minor, making it easier when scheduling appointment reminders or taking a payment.

Add a Guardian

A guardian/parent can be added as a contact for the client minor.

• Select My Clients from the left-hand menu
• Locate and select the client name
• Navigate to the client's 'Contacts' section
• Select Add Contact when creating a new (guardian) contact
• There may also be an option to edit an existing contact, if available
• From the Relation drop-down menu, choose the 'Parent/Guardian' option

• Make sure to add an email address (for receiving/enabling portal reminders)
• Save when complete
