How to Print Secondary Claims

Since secondary claims cannot be submitted within the system, you can either print them or submit them electronically via Office Ally.

Here we'll review with you how to generate and print a secondary claim.

Printing Secondary Claims

Once a primary claim is paid, a secondary claim will automatically be generated.

Here are two ways you can do that:

From the Billing Dashboard:

To print, go to:

  • Billing (left menu)
  • Find the top left section Claim Actions and click Print 1 secondary claim shown here:

  • Next, check off the claims you want to print on the far left:

  • Once at least one is checked you can click (top right)

  • A new window will pop up with your claim ready to print on the strongly recommended pre-printed CMS-1500 forms.
Didn't get the new tab? Click here to troubleshoot.
  • In the new tab you'll then see the claim
  • You can then print with your browser (example for Chrome shown):

Congratulations on printing your secondary claim!

From the Clients Billing Tab

You can also access secondary claims from the clients billing tab.

To access, go to:

  • Click on the client, opening their profile
  • Click Billing (top tab)

  • Click the top tab Claim
  • Click the button in the green section

  • Then click (top right)

  • A new window will pop up with your claim ready to print on the strongly recommended pre-printed CMS-1500 forms.
